Gauger + Santy Advertising and Huard Marketing are the latest agencies to open in New England, a region that in recent years has been especially conducive to startups and outposts of distant shops.
Gauger + Santy has established a Boston office, while Huard Marketing has hung its shingle out in Portland, Maine.
Gauger + Santy expanded to Boston in an effort to leverage its natural-foods marketing experience on the East Coast. The move follows the merger earlier this year of Santy Advertising, Phoenix, with Gauger in San Francisco.
