Actress, singer and entrepreneur Jennifer Lopez officially became Adweek’s Brand Visionary for 2021 when she accepted the award earlier today at the Brandweek summit.

Created to recognize a career’s worth of branding and marketing achievements, Brand Visionary is Adweek’s marquee award, and Lopez is the 10th person to receive it.

“I’m grateful for his honor,” said Lopez, accepting via video from Los Angeles. “In my career as an artist, my goal has always been to inspire and empower and entertain, and I built everything I do through that lens.”
