Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming romantic comedy, Shotgun Wedding, has been acquired by Prime Video. The project was originally slated for a theatrical release though Lionsgate for June 29, but instead Shotgun Wedding’s U.S. and international rights were sold to the Amazon streamer.

“Packed with action, comedy, and a dash of romance, Shotgun Wedding is one of those rare films with something for everyone,” said Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon Studios in a press release. “With a cast led by Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel, the film is bursting with star power and fantastic performances. We are thrilled to work with the entire filmmaking team to bring this hilarious, multifaceted film to Prime Video audiences around the world.”

Shotgun Wedding costars Josh Duhamel as Lopez’s fiancé, who gather their families for a destination wedding, but when the couple begins to rethink their nuptials, the entire wedding party is taken hostage. The cast includes Jennifer Coolidge, Sonia Braga, Cheech Marin, Selena Tan and Lenny Kravitz.

This will be the second Lopez romantic comedy to have a streaming debut this year. In February, her film Marry Me—which also starred Owen Wilson—had a day-and-date premiere in theaters and on Peacock.
