Rocket League, a popular esport featuring rocket-powered cars playing soccer, has brought in Ford’s F-150 as a playable car. It’s the first truck from a global automaker to enter the game, as previous activations centered around cars from media universes: Jeep from Jurassic Park, Dom Torretto’s Dodge Charger from The Fast and The Furious, the Batmobile, etc. Rocket League developer Psyonix did bring in a McLaren in 2018, but the luxury super-car is nearly as untouchable as one from a movie world.

With the Ford F-150, Rocket League is bringing in an actual consumer car to the game for the first time.
