Pro Media Names CEO

BOSTON Independent Pro Media said it has hired Ed Goldman as president and chief executive officer.

Goldman succeeds Nancy Ryan, who founded Pro Media 25 years ago and has served as president, CEO and chairman. She retains the chairman title at the Natick, Mass.-based company.

“I am very fortunate to have someone of [Ed’s] caliber to step in and take the company to what I consider the next level,” said Ryan.

Previously, Goldman since 1997 has served as vice president and general manager of Viacom-owned TV stations WBZ and WSBK, both in the Boston market, and WLWC in Providence, R.I.
