“We believe that the internet should not evolve to become one big mall called Walmart or Amazon. We really want to give the small brands rocket fuel so that they can compete with the best technology,” explained Magne Hatteland, vp and head of Pio, a fully automated ecommerce fulfillment service from Norwegian storage company Autostore.

The start-up tech company has recently revealed its branding and marketing assets, developed over the last year alongside R/GA London. It offers a storage service inside a cube with robots operating on top, and is targeting small-to-medium businesses (SMBs) in the Nordics and Greater New York area, with a look to expand across the U.S.
