NEW YORK WPP Group’s OgilvyOne said it has initiated a joint venture to enter the Japanese Internet advertising market.

OgilvyOne Japan has partnered with Nikko, a Japanese online media company, to create Neo@Ogilvy KK. The joint venture will plan and place Web ads and offer search marketing services.

Neo@Ogilvy will launch in Japan with top Ogilvy clients IBM, Lenovo, Cisco Systems and SAP. It will be part of the OgilvyOne network, which has Neo@Ogilvy as its Web media arm.
