NEW YORK Janovic/Plaza has chosen Goldberg Fossa Seid Advertising to handle its estimated $1 million advertising account.

Janovic, headquartered in Long Island City, N.Y., sells paint, window treatments and wall coverings throughout the tri-state area. Ten of its 20 stores are located in Manhattan, where it has been a retailer since 1888.

The New York agency will create a campaign that involves magazines, telephone kiosks, newspaper supplements, radio and direct mail.

The client is a wholly owned subsidiary of Benjamin Moore Paints and Berkshire Hathaway.
