NEW YORK Intermix said it has reached an agreement with the New York State Attorney General’s office to settle a lawsuit brought against the company in April accusing it of distributing spyware.
The Los Angeles company said it reached an agreement in principle with Eliot Spitzer to pay $7.5 million in fines over three years and agree to cease distributing adware, home page redirect and toolbar software.
