Google, Yahoo Honor RPA

LOS ANGELES Independent RPA won awards from both Google’s AdWords and Yahoo’s first Search Light competition for paid search innovation earlier this month, according to the agency. Both companies recognized the shop’s work on Honda.

“I think it is recognition for strategic work that isn’t, in many cases, the obvious or straightforward use of search to support brand advertising efforts,” said Mike Margolin, vice president and associate media director at the Santa Monica, Calif., agency. “We’re in a strong position to offer those strategic services as we touch all parts of our client’s advertising efforts.”
