Broadcast Production Chief Finally Joins McCann
NEW YORK–Peter Friedman, head of broadcast production at Nike, has resigned from the shoe and apparel maker to join McCann-Erickson in New York, effective next month.
Friedman left the now-defunct Wells Rich Greene in early 1997 to join Nike, working with both Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, Ore., and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco. He joins McCann, which had courted him for nearly a year, as its new director of broadcast production.
“Peter has a stellar reputation and a great talent and fits into the McCann culture, which doesn’t support destructive egos,” said Nina DiSesa, chairman and chief creative officer of McCann’s New York office.
