DraftWorldwide Wins Piece of Coors Promotions

CHICAGO — Coors Brewing has hired DraftWorldwide as its secondary promotions agency, a representative for the Chicago shop confirmed. The Chicago shop had been in contract talks with the Golden, Colo., brewery, for several weeks (Adweek, Nov. 25).

DraftWorldwide, part of the Interpublic Group, will work with Omnicom-owned Integer for Coors. Coors promotions budget is estimated at $15-20 million.

Coors also talked to The Tracey Locke Partnership in Dallas and 141 Communicator, Chicago, about the promotions business, sources said.

Earlier this year Coors added Arnold and Deutsch to its advertising agency roster, joining longtime shop Foote, Cone & Belding.
