Dove found itself in hot water this weekend after it posted a racially insensitive post to its Facebook page. The brand has since pulled the post from Facebook and issued an apology.
The ad depicted a black woman posing next to a bottle of one of Dove’s body products. In the post, which has since been deleted, the black woman is wearing a skin tone-colored t-shirt. She then proceeds to remove the shirt and turns into a white woman.
