NEW YORK — Wieden + Kennedy’s Dan Wieden will lead the film and press and outdoor juries at the 50th Annual International Advertising Festival in Cannes. Chief creative officer and CEO of Weiden, Portland, Ore., New York, London, Amsterdam and Tokyo, Wieden co-founded the agency with David Kennedy in 1982. W+K’s Nike spot, “Tag,” from its highly-praised “Play” campaign won the grand prix at Cannes last year.

“Actually, I wanted to hand out the very first gold lion, but I was only six years old at the time,” Wieden said.
