Call for Submissions: Help Us Find Adweek’s Brand Geniuses for 2017

Nominations are open for marketing’s top honor

Headshot of Robert Klara

For over 25 years, Adweek’s Brand Genius Awards have saluted the brightest minds in branding and marketing—but we need your help in finding them. Do you know a fearless marketer who bursts with ideas, breaks with convention and delivers measurable results? Then please, introduce us.

Nominating is easy and free. Using the fields below, tell us why your Brand Genius meets our four criteria. (Note: All nominees must have a corporate title with a consumer-facing brand, big or small—we cannot consider agency talent or consultants.) Be as specific as you can. Use examples if possible.

In the past 12-18 months, the successful nominee has:

• Played a key leadership role in developing and/or growing a brand—including introducing a new product, revamping an existing one, or guiding a turnaround effort.

• Conceived or led the development of a truly innovative marketing campaign or otherwise guided the overall marketing of a brand in a definably new direction. (Courageous thinking and trend-bucking a plus.)

• Deployed the full arsenal of marketing tactics—including traditional, digital, social and guerrilla—to maximum effect.

• Proved the value of their marketing vision by producing measurable results in terms of sales, customer counts, or other useful metrics.

The deadline for nominations is Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017.
