SAN FRANCISCO–PeopleSoft has awarded its $30 million account to BBDO in New York, sources said.

The other finalists in the review were incumbent Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners West and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, both in San Francisco. KBP West had handled the account since April 1999.

PeopleSoft, a 14-year-old collaborative software and services provider based in Pleasanton, Calif., had issued an RFP in early August. The review came on the heels of Nanci Caldwell’s May arrival at the company as chief marketing officer and the release of a new Internet-based enterprise application, PeopleSoft 8.
