Steamboat Ski and Resort Celebrates 60 Years With Cowboy Poetry Campaign

Agency Fortnight Collective wrangled renowned poet Randy Rieman for the spots

Don't miss ADWEEK House at Cannes, June 16-19. Join us as we celebrate our 45th anniversary and explore the industry's now and next. RSVP.

Cowboy poetry is a tradition that dates back to the 1800s, with ranchers and ropers sitting around a campfire and regaling others with metered verse. The style that’s rooted in ranching culture lives on today, and one of the finest purveyors of the art is Randy Rieman, who both looks and sounds the part.

Rieman is the centerpiece of a new campaign for Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation as the famed Colorado ski mountain celebrates its 60th year of operation.
