Facebook’s Mark D’Arcy Moves Into Expanded Role as CCO

7-year platform vet will lead creative efforts across the business

Leaders from Glossier, Shopify, Mastercard and more will take the stage at Brandweek to share what strategies set them apart and how they incorporate the most valued emerging trends. Register to join us this September 23–26 in Phoenix, Arizona.

After leading Facebook’s Creative Shop for the past seven years, Mark D’Arcy’s role has expanded as he moves into the position as the platform’s vp of global business marketing and CCO. He takes over for Sarah Personette, who left the social giant to become the COO of Refinery29 last fall.

D’Arcy will maintain a significant presence at Facebook’s Creative Shop and will also oversee marketing functions for the global business. He will co-lead the team with Carolyn Everson, Facebook’s vp of global marketing solutions.
