LinkedIn said the first half of 2017 marked the sixth consecutive reporting period in which it fielded more government requests for member data.
The professional network released its transparency report for the first six months of the year, and it revealed that it received a total of 207 requests for member data, covering 614 accounts.
The bulk of those requests came from the U.S., with 187 regarding 594 accounts.
In the second half of 2016, LinkedIn received 150 government requests for member data, covering 373 accounts, with the U.S.
