NEW YORK Omicom Group’s PHD here has won four media planning and buying accounts in recent weeks worth approximately $50 million in billings.

The largest of the accounts is Tamiflu, worth about $30 million, which the agency added following a review that saw independent shop GSW pick up creative chores [Adweek Online, May 19].

The agencies have collaborated for the past two years on the Champion Mortgage account. Scott Tannenbaum, client services vp at GSW in Columbus, Ohio, said the agency reached out to PHD to handle media duties on Tamiflu, which is being positioned as a treatment for avian flu and other influenza strains.
