NEW YORK Yahoo said it has launched a service that it hopes will attract advertisers looking to connect with small business owners.

The Yahoo Small Business Resource Center features news and background on issues affecting small businesses, from marketing to legal problems to human resources. “We’re very much getting into the advertising business,” said Rich Riley, vice president and general manager of Yahoo Small Business.
