Tim Alberta to National Review

Alberta jumps ship from National Journal.

NRNational Journal’s Tim Alberta is leaving the publication to join the National Review as chief political correspondent.

As senior political correspondent, Alberta has been aggressively covering the 2016 campaign for National Journal, where he has previously covered congressional leadership and edited National Journal Hotline.

In a Tweet to followers, Alberta wrote:

Alberta’s move follows the departure of National Journal editor in chief and president Tim Grieve who announced he would be leaving to join The McClatchy Company, apparently prompted by the NJ’s decision to suspend publication of the print magazine.
