NEW YORK French corporate raider Vincent Bolloré said he has not ruled out buying additional shares in Havas, in which he already holds a 20 percent stake.

In a statement released to comply with provisions of the French Commercial Code, the Bolloré’s company and its Financiere du Loch unit said they have no “immediate” intention of attempting to take control of the Paris-based holding company, owner of Arnold, Euro RSCG and Media Planning Group.

However, Bolloré said he reserves the right to buy or sell Havas shares in accordance with market opportunities and the “evolution” of “relationships” with Havas management.
