No hemming and hawing this time: The market for jobs in advertising, media and marketing was unambiguously on the upswing last month, as reflected in the volume of help-wanted classified ads in Adweek. While the previous few months showed spotty signs of recovery, May was robust from coast to coast. The data put the ad sector more in line with the broad labor market, which has strengthened through much of 2004.
