Clang, Clang, Clang Went the Trolley

Streetcars are making a comeback, according to a New York Times article. About 40 cities are considering adding these quirky little cars, also called trolleys, to their mix of local transportation options. New Orleans is restoring its line, which was devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Denver, Salt Lake City, and Charlotte, N.C. have plans to add The Little Trolley That Could in their downtowns. In the Midwest, there’s Kenosha, Wisc. where they use street cars to loop from new condos to the local commuter train station.
