DALLAS DDB U.S. chief creative officer Bob Scarpelli has had little luck in filling the top creative position for McDonald’s.

After putting four different creatives in the job over five years, Scarpelli starts another search following the resignation of Jim Ferguson to become chairman and chief creative officer of Interpublic Group’s Temerlin McClain in Irving, Texas.

Since the Chicago shop took the lead role on McDonald’s in 1997, there have been four different creative leaders on the account, with Ferguson being the first and most recent.
