BOSTON Arnold managing partner and creative director Pete Favat anticipated a difficult time coordinating the nearly 1000 college students told to “drop dead” at the same moment at the shoot for the American Legacy Foundation’s latest anti-smoking TV spot, “1200.”

But, “as difficult as it seemed in our minds, it was a lot easier than we thought,” said Favat.

The spot opens with shots of the youths, each with a number on his or her shirt.
