WLTW and WCBS-FM Remain One and Two in Sept. PPMs

There were no changes atop the radio ratings for September. The Arbitron PPM for 6+ shows WLTW/Lite-FM maintaining its number one stranglehold on the competition. Clear Channel’s Lite-FM did slip .1 to 6.9.

But, perennially number two—WCBS-FM— also lost .1 to 5.3.

WHTZ/Z100 had no movement at 5.1, while WCBS-AM kept fourth despite a .2 drop.

WKTU remained at five, but also saw a slight decline to 4.6.  WAXQ/Q 104.3 was sixth for the month, even though the Classic Rock station had a .3 drop off.

WABC, at seventh place, was the first station to see some gains. The Citadel-owned talker picked up .2 to 4.0.

WINS and Hot 97/WQHT each got a .4 bounce to 3.6 and 3.4, respectively.

SBS-owned Tropical WSKQ cracked the Top 10, staying at 3.4 for the second straight month.

ESPN 1050/WEPN is back at a 1.0, while rival WFAN has another 3.0.
