SAN FRANCISCO — Stephen Creet, evp and chief creative officer at Young & Rubicam in San Francisco, is leaving the shop, the agency confirmed today. A replacement has not been named.

Creet has worked for Y&R here since July 1998. Before joining, he served as executive vp and chief creative officer at BBDO Canada.

During his tenure at Y&R, Creet worked on the Chervon and Lincoln-Mercury accounts, among others.

Sources said the Creet will be returning to Canada, where he is from, to take a position at the Cossette Communication Group in Toronto. Cossette did not return calls as of press time.
