Growth Leads to Expansion of E-commerce, PR, Direct Marketing
CHICAGO–Northlich in Cincinnati has added a layer of senior management to oversee the agency’s various disciplines.
Rick Miller, Susan Jones and Don Perkins were each named executive vice president at the shop.
Miller adds management of the agen-cy’s interactive, e-business, direct marketing and media units to his existing role as managing director of public relations.
Jones heads up client services and the agency’s Brandstorm group, which offers brand consulting.
Perkins remains in charge of Northlich’s creative department.
The moves were made by Mark Serrianne, who is in his third year as chief executive officer and fifth year as president of the shop. Managers who previously reported to Serrianne will now report to the new executive vice presidents.
Serrianne attributed the changes to the agency’s growth. Capitalized billings last year increased 23 percent to $131 million, and the agency is expected to report billings of $150 million in a couple months, Serrianne said. That growth has led to an expansion of the e-commerce, public relations and direct marketing units.
Until December, Northlich was called Northlich Stolley LaWarre.
Northlich’s clients include Cincinnati Bell, Gibson Greetings, Procter & Gamble, StarKist and Fidelity Investments. The agency also has a Columbus, Ohio-based group called Groundswell, which handles public affairs and government relations. K
