Mars Advertising Company has expanded its relationships with two of its clients, the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. and Weider Nutrition.
The Southfield, Mich., agency will take over as lead agency for Montvale, N.J.-based Great Atlantic & Pacific’s Eastern region, handling strategic planning, creative development, and media buying for A&P, Super Fresh, and Waldbaum’s stores.
Mars already handles planning, creative, and media buying for Farmer Jack stores, which operates more than 100 stores in southeastern Michigan and is one of the largest divisions of Great Atlantic & Pacific.
