Former Wells BDDP managing partner/creative director Michael Mark has resurfaced at Capener, Matthews & Walcher, now Matthews/Mark, in San Diego.
Mark, who worked on Wells’ Toys R Us account among others, left the New York shop last month in the wake of its losing the $125 million Procter & Gamble account. He will serve as partner and president/chief creative officer of the 52-person shop, with an estimated $50 million in billings.
“This is a terrific opportunity to build something with someone I respect,” Mark said, referring to the shop’s president, chief executive officer and chairman, Jim Matthews.
