Anyone can launch a Facebook fan page, but not everyone can do it the way Vernice “FlyGirl” Armour plans to do it Saturday at 2 p.m. Eastern Time.
Armour boasts a list of firsts, including:
- First African-American female combat pilot (Super Cobra attack helicopters for two tours of duty in Iraq);
- First African-American female motorcycle cop for the Nashville Police Department; and
- One of the first women to play professional football.
She is now in the less-adrenaline-inducing field of motivational speaking, and she plans to launch her Facebook fan page with a one-hour event, which is set to include:
- Live streaming video of Armour interacting with her fans;
- Giveaways of her book, Zero to Breakthrough: The Seven-Step, Battle-Tested Method for Accomplishing Goals That Matter, as well as coaching sessions and gift certificates;
- A live question-and-answer session on the topic of overcoming obstacles;
