After back-and-forth about whether Twitter would pull the plug on the blogging platform Posterous after acquiring it a year ago, Posterous announced today it will go dark on April 30.
After some back-and-forth about whether Twitter would pull the plug on the blogging platform Posterous after acquiring it a year ago, Posterous announced today it will go dark on April 30.
Posterous is based in San Francisco and emerged in 2008 from the Y Combinator accelerator program. Although it is similar to other blogging platforms and offers a web-based service and a mobile app, Posterous was designed for use on mobile devices.
Co-founder Sachin Agarwal instructed users today to remove their data from Posterous “spaces,”
