LearnVest.com Taps Silda Wall Spitzer for Advice Column
LearnVest.com has tapped Silda Wall Spitzer, the wife of former New York governor and soon-to-be CNN host Eliot Spitzer, to write an advice column for the site.
While she has been overshadowed in the press by her husband, Ms. Spitzer is a financial expert in her own right. She serves as managing director of Metropolitan Capital Advisers.
Spitzer will join a slate of other contributors to LearnVest’s new “Expert Corner,” a community designed to “help women learn, earn, invest, save and spend well,” according to the company.
Other contributors include LearnVest.com CEO Alexa von Tobel, Circle Financial Group chair Ann Kaplan and The Limited CEO Linda Heasley.
“Finance is the final frontier-we talk freely about relationships and dieting, but money is still taboo,” said von Tobel, LearnVest Founder and CEO, announcing the hires. “We are so excited to bring together this impressive group of women to help other women start a dialogue around their money and the power and choices it brings.
