The Washington Independent's Ackerman Moves to Wired's Danger Room
The Washington Independent’s loss is Wired.com’s gain: National security reporter Spencer Ackerman is leaving the two-year-old, DC-based politics and policy Web site to join Noah Shachtman and crew as Senior Reporter for Wired’s Danger Room blog.
Ackerman (who, based on his Twitter feed, is busy covering today’s ouster of General Stanley McChrystal as commander of US and NATO forces in Afghanistan) has reported from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Guantanamo. He previously wrote for The American Prospect, Talking Points Memo, and The New Republic.
