Bad Girls Mean Good Numbers for Oxygen.com, Oxygen Live
Oxygen cited the launch of its Oxygen Live social online component as one of the most significant drivers for its strong traffic numbers in January, also mentioning that its Bad Girls Club series has made its mark on Twitter, landing in the top-10-trending topics on the microblogging site every week since its season premiere Dec. 1.
The site topped the 1 million mark in terms of unique visitors for January, up 68 percent compared with January 2009, and the network said Oxygen Live drew 3.4 million page views for the month.
Oxygen Mobile is riding the wave, as well, posting a 208 percent increase in page views and 290 percent jump in monthly unique visitors versus the prior-year month.
