Android OS 3.0 (Gingerbread) "Details" Not Very Detailed or Appetizing

You would think that there would be a lot Android tablets from first tier PC vendors by now (more than 6 months since the iPad’s release). And, yet, all we really have is the Dell Streak with its tiny (for a tablet) 5-inch display. To make matters worse, it runs the ancient Android OS 1.6 release (2.2 is the current release). Some manufacturers have said that Android OS 2.2 (Froyo) is not suitable for tablet devices.
