The original Motorola Droid is one of the best selling Android smartphones. However, you don’t see shelves lined with custom accessories like cases for it. The Nexus One was not a best seller. And, now that Google doesn’t sell it anymore, you can’t even buy the few accessories that were available for it earlier this year (desk dock, car dock, spare battery).
The only smartphone with a truly rich ecosystem is the iPhone. But, that doesn’t mean that a every accessory company caters solely to the iPhone. OtterBox announced:

The two phones OtterBox produced cases for were moderate sellers during their heyday: THe HTC HD2 and Motorola Cliq. You can see the OtterBox Commuter case for the HD2 and Impact case for the Cliq in the photos above. Me? I’m a fan of OtterBox’s nearly totally enclosed Defender Series.
