Believe it or not, making PowerPoint slide presentations using a Windows CE Pocket PC was pretty easy back around the turn of this century. All you needed with a Pocket PC with a CompactFlash Card slot (nearly all had one or a slide-on adapter to add one), a CompactFlash Card VGA adapter, drivers for the adapter and a PowerPoint slidedeck converted using ActiveSync.
