The second Lenovo mobile announcement that caught my attention is the…

S10-3t tablet 10″ netbook

The “t” in its name designates its touch screen feature. It has a 10.1-inch multi-touch screen that can swivel between a netbook keyboard configuration and a tablet (screen only) configuration. It uses the new Intel Atom N470 processor and has a big 320GB hard drive. Lenovo does not say how much RAM it has. However, the non-touch S10-3 has 2GB RAM. So, I assume the S10-3t does too. Lenovo does note that the S10-3t has a 1.3 megapixel webcam, WiMAX, WiFi (802.11b/g/n) and Bluetooth. It also features something called “Instant-on Quick Start” technology that gives you access to select applications without booting Microsoft Windows.

I don’t see a price for the S10-3t or S10-3. But, it will be available tomorrow (January 6). So, we should have that information very soon.

If the multi-touch S10-3t is priced under $500 (or at least close to it if more), I think Lenovo will have generate a good chunk of sales if they can team up with one of the various Clear WiMax partners to deliver 4G wireless data at a reasonable monthly price.
