Volas Debuts Smartphone Content Portal
Wireless application service provider Volas Entertainment has launched a white-label mobile portal solution chock full of content for smartphone users.
According to Mobile Entertainment, the portal has premium content for all flavors of smartphones and some PDAs. Dubbed SmartPDA Central, the site boasts links, applications, games, videos and other types of mobile content.
Built on the Volas turnkey portal platform, SmartPDA is ready for operators and services providers to stick their brands on it and start selling content to smartphone users. The portal integrates with the operator’s existing billing and subscriber management systems. Volas handles all the back-end tasks for the hosted service including management and content aggregation, the article says.
