Instagram shared some user safety updates on Safer Internet Day Tuesday.

The Security Checkup feature Instagram begin rolling out last July to help people whose accounts may have been hacked is now available to everyone globally.

The feature guides people through steps to secure their account, including checking login activity, reviewing profile information, confirming accounts that share login information and updating account recovery contact information, such as a phone number or email address.

Instagram also began testing a new way last December for people to see and manage all of their activity on the platform in one place, and Your Activity will now begin rolling out to everyone.
