With Covid-19 keeping many people out of physical showrooms, Facebook released several updates aimed at helping U.S. auto dealers of all sizes manage and promote their virtual showrooms.

A new Manage Inventory tab gives dealers a single destination where they can create, manage and promote vehicle listings, as well as view insights such as views and leads so that they can assess the performance of those listings.

The process of creating automotive inventory ads was simplified so that it can be completed in a few clicks.

Facebook said that dealers can start from the dealership page or the Manage Inventory tab and either select an existing catalog or create a new one by connecting to a third-party provider, after which they can use a prefilled template to create their ads.
