Is a Facebook Auction Going On Right Now?
So, another Facebook auction? One company is keeping its mouth shut tight.
There might be a Facebook auction going on right now, but it’s hard to tell. SharesPost, which provides a marketplace for pre-IPO stocks in companies such as Twitter, Digg and eHarmony, was planning to launch an auction starting Monday, January 10, 2011, according to Inside Investor Relations. The news came as SharesPost announced a $25 clearing price for the last auction, which ended in mid-December.
