TikTok is getting rid of creator accounts and instead making its creator tools available to personal accounts.
The video creation platform said in an email to creators that a new Creator Tools section in personal accounts will include the tools they are already familiar with: analytics, the Creator Portal, promote, Q&A.
Business accounts and personal accounts will be the only options available to users, and existing creator accounts will be converted to personal accounts, with no change in access to creator tools.
TikTok said in its email, “This change will simply reduce steps in accessing tools to help creators get the most out of their time on TikTok and does not impact your video or account performance.”
