Twitter Extends Reply Conversation Settings to Advertisers

The social network also earned the Trustworthy Accountability Group Brand Safety Certified Seal


The conversation settings Twitter rolled out to all users globally last August—letting them choose who can reply to their tweets between everyone, only people they follow and only people mentioned in the tweet—were extended to advertisers Tuesday.

All advertisers who compose tweets directly through the social network’s tweet composer or through its Ads API (application-programming interface) will be able to apply those conversation settings to promoted-only tweets and tweets that use Twitter’s most popular ad formats, as well as organic tweets.
