Cookies Browser Extension Uses Avatars in Online Privacy Campaign

Developed by UNESCO, it promotes an artificial intelligence framework of ethics

Consumers have grown more concerned in recent years about online privacy and being tracked online. With the death of the third party cookie delayed, those fears look no closer to being allayed, which is why the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has introduced an artificial intelligence (AI) powered tool to help fight data misuse.

The launch of The Cookie Factory, with the aid of DDB Paris, will further alert online users to the issues facing digital privacy, offering them a browser extension that helps them assume a new identity while browsing the internet.
