WCBS-TV Hires New Executive Producer

WCBS/Channel 2 has hired Diana Miller as an executive producer in the news department, starting Monday.

She most recently was a producer for Anderson Cooper’s nationally syndicated daytime talk show, seen locally on WPIX.  Miller produced the August 15, 2011 series premiere with the parents and boyfriend of Amy Winehouse. She also produced an episode called Children and Teens Caught in the Wrong Bodies, which was recently nominated for a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Talk Show Episode.

Miller’s affiliation with Cooper started at CNN, where she spent seven years on Anderson Cooper 360. She began as a production assistant, ultimately becoming a producer.

After her stint with the cable news network, Miller joined MTV as a senior producer. She developed and produced The Seven

Miller is well-decorated for her work: multiple Emmys, a Columbia-duPont, and the prestigious Peabody Award.
