USA Today Staff Cuts Are Underway

USA Today is cutting 35 jobs from its newsroom as the paper shifts its focus from print to mobile content. A total of about 130 of the 1,500 jobs throughout the paper’s departments are expected to be cut.

Unsurprising news given that, back in August, USA Today publisher Dave Hunke announced that changes were underway at the paper, and that a 9 percent reduction in the paper’s workforce was to be expected at this time.
